AWAIT YOUR... SUPPORT!
I PROBE LIFE
CARE, LOVE, DEVOTION,
CLOAKED SUPPORT?
SUPPORT OF FATHER,
NURTURES, BUILD KID FOR LIFE.
ISN'T THAT SUPPORT?
MOTHERS, LAP
SUPPORT SILENTLY,
REGAIN JOY!
LIFE'S ENDLESS TORMENTS!
AWAITS OUTLANDISH SUPPORT
TO HEARTS THAT HANKER.
TRAUMAS GAINED
ACHES STILL FRESH! AWAIT THAT SUPPORT!!
LOVE RELATIONS NEAR!!!
YET, SOUL I CALL MINE, MISSING!!!
LONG HIS SUPPORT!
This set of haiku are written for HAIKU HEIGHTS for the prompt this week, SUPPORT :)
P.S- OFTEN IN LIFE WE FIND OUR SELVES ALL ALONE IN THIS WORLD EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE RELATIONS ALL AROUND US, THE ONLY ONE WHO EXISTS IMAGINARILY IN OUR MINDS IS MISSED ALOT... HIS/HER PRESENCE IS LONGED.. THE MOST!
DOSENT MATTER IF EVEN THE WHOLE WORLDS AROUND HE/SHE CLINGS ON OUR SOULS AND MAKES US FEEL THEIR IMPORTENCE :):)
This set of haiku are written for HAIKU HEIGHTS for the prompt this week, SUPPORT :)
Each are quite good examples of support, but I do wonder if it's needed to do so much. I like each tercet of course, Maharukh, it's quite thought out.. but a haiku is meant to say a lot in 17 syllables.. This felt heavy of sorts..
ReplyDeleteLike you included fathers and mothers in support. This dad appreciates that. And you tackled needing support too. Nicely done.

Very nicely written :)
ReplyDeleteThe family supports us like no one else...very meaningful haiku :-)
ReplyDeleteFamily relationships are the best support system. Agree.
ReplyDeleteAs to the form, perhaps it's best to focus on a single image or idea and build on it. This is not haiku per se but just a poem of 3 lines per stanza ~
Happy day to you ~
Last one made me wonder of "HIS", sometimes its God, sometimes a friend, sometimes soul. Well done Sis, love you!
ReplyDeleteamazing set... very true... its beautiful.. u write so wnderfully.. a fan of yours... :)
ReplyDeleteMaharukh, this is my first time here, thx for stopping by my blog. You write beautiful verse. The whole "support" theme is upheld by both the images (great) and the words about mothers, fathers... yet, even with all family, there come times when one feels alone, isolated. That's when you also turn to the 'family' you create along the way, who lend a unique form of support. Great stuff, but if you write without all capital letters, it will be even better!! Peace, Amy

ReplyDelete..:)
adorbale haiku maharukh ,,:)
Very interesting thoughts maharukh... but i think we depend on people so much we forget that we come alone n die alone.. loneliness is just our state of mind... we always have people who love around us! :)
ReplyDeleteBlack fist of fury!
A wonderful set. Lovely. And so true. Could relate with each of them. for me, the best lines: "life's endless torment. waits outlandish support, to hearts that hanker".
ReplyDeleteBtw, Thank you for stopping by at my blog, now I visited yours and i know i would come back here soon. Keep writing.:)
I like the fact that you went towards the family way, with this writing
