LOVE IS.....
"Love is..." is a famous comic strip created by New Zealand artist Kim Grove in the late 1960s. Later they were produced by Stefano Casali. These ubber cute series began as a series of little love notes that Kim Grove drew for her future husband, Roberto Casali. Kim Casali died in June 1997. Since then, her son Stefano Casali has maintained the strip although it is always shown as "by Kim Casali" and signed "Kim" instead of Stefano. "Love Is... being able to say you're sorry!" What do you think?
This happens alot to me too. Sometimes I say, it might have been for the good that I didn't speak my heart because you never know who you might injure with your words.
ReplyDeletethen jnana we both are sailing in the same boat :0

ReplyDeletethank u:) namaste! :)
DeleteMaharukh, you are not alone.. and it's perhaps the feeling that you will not be understood or worse you will be misunderstood that must be stopping you to speak...happens ..but then one must come out of this..and speak when it is essential...
ReplyDeleteYour haiku says a lot and it is very well crafted.
Thank you sir! :)
Deleteobliged to have you here :) indeed it is just a feeling and m growing to the better part :)

Intense... but never feel alone... evryone goes thru this phase atleast once in a while.. it's only for u to learn n move on! Good luck... Cheers! :)
ReplyDeletetheres always one phase or other going on, we learn to deal with it :) either we accept or improve :) thanks pranita! :)
DeleteFeels as angry as it does sad....I always check my visceral reaction to everyone's haiku, and the one that trigger emotions immediately are my favorites...

DeleteI too long for a pious heart..:( harsh world this is, no?
ReplyDeleteI feel the world is a beautiful place just the people are a lil absurd :)
DeleteI think this is very true. There are lot of people who are wanting that escape, but not finding the right heart. Well written.
ReplyDeleteI do urge you to look into the syllable count though; a haiku is 17 syllables or under, usually in 5-7-5 form... yours has taken on a 6-8-6 :)

That is the affliction affecting people. Many may not realize how they hurt others. It's good for us to be aware though. Great thought, Maha!
ReplyDeleteHank
yes Hank, the world surely will e a better place if everyone realize a lil that how much a boneless muscle can hurt others! till then all we can do is stay cautious :)

ReplyDeleteYour words describe how I sometimes feel. I'm not the bursting type though - physically at least. Well done, Maharukh
ReplyDeleteno one physically bursts up, as far as i know but the bottled emotions really cause a mess...
ReplyDeletethanks hazel.. :)
One more great haiku :)
ReplyDeleteoh.. thanks :) u understood it :P :)
DeleteI think many can relate to your words - at one time or another in their lives ... however, it is important to try to speak one's truth whenever possible ... A little easier as one gets older -- wishing we had done so when we were younger ...
