ARE WE REALLY STUPID AND HEARTLESS?

Maybe I shouldn't have expected any better from them. But the following set of news items officially confirm that no politician is to be trusted for the 'Welfare' of this country (forget the 'Islamic' part). If the only reason left on the planet to support PTI in elections next year is that it's 'the next cool thing' to support Imran Khan, then we certainly don't need this 'cool factor'. Because it's not going to do anything except land the country and its people in more 'hot water' than ever before.

Take a look at these.

Musharraf in favour of recognising Israel

Monday, January 9th, 2012
The former President of Pakistan Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf has recently given a statement in which he expressed his view that the Jewish country Israel should be recognized by Pakistan.

The former President of Pakistan was speaking in an interview with an Israeli newspaper, Haaretz while sharing his views on the relationship between Pakistan and Israel. The retired General was of the opinion that good relations between the two nations would serve to strengthen both countries strategically and otherwise as well. The former President of Pakistan stressed that both the nations can find many common grounds on which diplomatic relations can be initiated and built up.

Musharraf pointed out that the basis of the creation of both the countries was ideological.

Musharraf pointed out that it was him who took it upon himself and felt it was necessary that the two countries develop ties and in this regard, got the former Pakistani minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri to have a meeting with the foreign minister of Israel, Silvan Shalom.

------------------------------------------------
It's a point to be noted that Israel is responsible for these: Take a look!

A protester screams as an Israeli soldier aims his gun at her during a demonstration against the construction of Israel's separation barrier in the West Bank village of Bilin, near Ramallah, on Sept. 2, 2005. The Israeli Army clashed with Palestinian and foreign protesters demonstrating against the confiscation of some of Bilin's land to build the controversial wall that separates Israel from the West Bank.

-------------------------------------------------------
These pictures can make the hardest of hearts weep. Weep with misery, despair, helplessness and then, we have a leader who is openly declaring his recognition of the state which is openly responsible for the murders cited above..?

Can any human being support this action? Will recognizing Israel stop the atrocities, the murders?

And speaking of murder, do not forget one of the most merciless massacres which happened in Musharraf's time. Lal Masjid. There isn't even a pictoral record of the massacre that happened, and how the victims were burned beyond recognition and secretly buried, and their relatives could do nothing but cry and weep. Why wouldn't a massacre-supporting man support a massacre supporting country?

Now take a look at the second piece of news:
------------------------------------------------
Shah Mahmood Qureshi says PTI yet to decide on possible coalition with Pervez Musharraf

The vice-chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmood Qureshi has caused uproar within the party supporters after stating that the decision regarding any future conciliation with the former president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf will be taken after taking circumstances into account.

------------------------------------------------

Third piece of news:

Parvez Musharraf rates Imran Khan as the best politician of the current lot

Former Pakistan President Parvez Musharraf has admitted that Imran Khan is the best politician in the country amongst the current lot. He shared these views while giving an exclusive interview to NDTV on Thursday, November 17, 2011.

Musharraf had no doubts over the honesty of Imran and said, “He means what he says. Maybe, although at times, one sees some variations in statements but, however, I think he means well. He is a patriotic man. So, since he has not been tested, he is, out of the lot, the best of the lot to be given a chance.”

Another beauty:

Election alliance expected between Imran Khan and Pervez Musharraf

Political parties are adjusting their positions in line with the prevailing scenario, and it seems like some significant political developments could be witnessed before the upcoming general elections.

Reports suggest that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan, and All Pakistan Muslim League chief, Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf,  are expected to join hands in order to win maximum number of seats in National Assembly and emerge as one of the major political force in the country.

Imran is on the visit of United States to attend his Party’s procession. According to sources, Musharraf and the PTI chief are busy in forging a political alliance through their mutual friends in U.S.

------------------------------------------------

Whose game are we, the gullible public playing? And whose stealthy hands are pulling the strings and we're content with being the puppets? Wherever the string is pulled, our opinions, thoughts and wants follow suit. It's disgusting to even think about, let alone support.

PTI supporters.. now is your real test.

And PTI itself, there really doesn't seem to be much "Islamic" to your "Islamic Welfare State". I believe it's just there to appease the religious masses, and maybe to garner some support from them. But in reality, neither your manifesto, nor your actions (and your potential actions) support this phrase in any form.

People, do think about it.

P.S not into politics but my bff faraz is its his profile pic which provoked me to search on politics and hence found a not no negligible article...
of late my dad too was talking about this....

  1. Excellent!

I would like to add some of my thoughts on this.To fully analyze the perennial problems in pakistan, we must first get to the basics.
It is not a hidden fact that formation of Pakistan was a British Gameplan, as was formation of Israel. To analogize we have following points :

1.Both Israel and Pakistan were carved out around the same time(pakistan in 1947, Israel in 1948)

2.Both the states did not have any historical basis, rather it was the wishes of the minority(and more influential) given preference over that of the masses.

3.The formation of both states resulted in gigantic losses of life and property and large scale tensions in the adjoining areas which can be felt to this day.

4.Both states have been agressors and have fought major wars with the neighboring countries and illegally annexing their territories.

5.Since their formation, they have used fear syndrome to mislead their own masses and frequently use terrorism to further their aims, not shying in killing their own citizens.

6.Both are nuclear armed states who have not signed the NPT, clearly not giving up the option of nuclear war.

7.Both have a history of oppression of minorities on the basis of religion and race.

8.Both states are the top allies of USA since formation and receive billions of dollars in aid annually to further their unholy aims.

And lastly both states were given green signal for one single purpose of weakening the muslim community.Pakistan, for prevention of any possibility of unity among muslims in south asia and israel by fomenting suspicion and grouping in middle east.
